Former or Currently Incarcerated Women Editions
Syngenuity Circles is partnering with the women of The WIRE to provide a safe space for women to heal and discuss the traumatic impact of childhood experiences and incarceration as well as parenting before and after incarceration. Secondly, we will work together to publish the Anthology of The WIRE. This Anthology will serve to inform other women and the larger community about the effectiveness of Syngenuity Circles for women healing from trauma. Morever, the Anthology will serve to shape and share the narrative of formerly incarcerated DC women.
Syngenuity Circles hopes to be used in women’s correctional facilities, juvenille and adult, in the future to provide women a safe space to connect and share and also bridge gaps between women incarcerated and the staff of the facility. Also a part of this vision is to work with formerly incarcerated women who have re-entered their communities. Check back for future updates of the progress toward this vision.
Inter-generational Community Editions
